Join in on a day of watercolor with the renowned Frank Webb!
Frank Webb - A.W.S. – D.F., N.W.S. has been self-employed as an artist since 1958. He has taught hundreds of painting seminars, worldwide and in 50 states. He is a Dolphin Fellow and a vice president of the American Watercolor Society. He has served numerous times on the A.W.S. jury of selection and the jury of awards. Other national memberships include Allied Artists of America, Audubon Artists, and the Rocky Mountain National Watermedia Association. North Light has published three of his books: Watercolor Energies, Webb on Watercolor, and Strengthen Your Paintings with Dynamic Composition. ‘
He is listed in Who's Who in American Art and Who's Who in the East. He has won more than 120 major awards, and has juried more than 100 national exhibitions. Webb works are in many collections, including: The Butler Institute of American Art, The Taiwan Art Education Institute, the Palmer Museum of Penn State University, the Southern Alleghenies Art Museum, The Southern Arkansas Art Center, the Portland Art Museum, the Tweed Art Museum of the University of Minnesota and the Art Institute of Qingdao, China.
In this workshop Mr. Webb will clarify the use of design principles. The aim of this study is to re-create a new reality, establish unity, and to produce unique works.
Participants are encouraged to recognize and nurture their personal vision, sharpen their craft, and awaken a critical view of their own production. Demonstrations will explore a wide variety of approaches. All styles of painting and levels of expertise are welcome.
